10 Day Meditation Challenge
Starts Tuesday 1st September - Ends Thursday 10th September Join Lydia for ten days of mindfulness meditation incorporating awakening mindful movements to prep the body and mind for stillness. This is a great way to instil a regular routine as we wind down late summer and start easing into post lockdown life. Whats the challenge? Throughout the 10 day meditation practice together we will spend 2 days exploring each of the 5 elements of Chinese medicine; wood, earth, fire, metal and water. Before each daily meditation we will practice a few simple Qigong (pronounced 'Chee-gung') movements to warm up the body in preparation to sit in stillness. Qigong is an ancient mindful movement practice deriving from China and is the umbrella term for all energy exercises and practices. Unlike some yogic practices Qigong is very accessible to all body types and is also the foundation for martial art forms. |
How will we practice together?
The daily sessions will be offered live via zoom each day at 7am-7.30am. If you're not an early riser or you have early morning commitments you might like to opt for receiving the audio meditation to practice in your own time. After each morning session the meditation audio will be sent direct to your inbox at 8am each day.
